How to fit it
On the bowl in under a minute.

Measure
Lay a tape measure across the top of your empty bowl, from the inside of the rim to the inside of the rim. Anything from 7 to 9 inches works.

Clip
Wrap the guard around the outside of the bowl with the opening facing your pet. Overlap the two ends and press the studs into the holes, starting on the loosest.

Attach
Settle the strap just under the rim, then press the top edge of the wall. It should flex and spring back. If the strap slides, clip it one position tighter.

The strap adjusts from 9 inches down to 7. Here is exactly what that covers, and what it does not.
It fits
Round bowls measuring 7 to 9 inches straight across the top opening.

Outside that range the strap has nothing to grip, so we would rather you knew now.

- Square or steep-sided bowls where the strap cannot sit flat
- Bowls set into a raised feeder frame
How to measureLay a tape measure straight across the top of the bowl, from the inside of the rim to the inside of the rim — not the base, and not the outside of a thick lip. If the bowl is not perfectly round, measure its narrowest direction.

Will it fit my pet’s bowl?
It fits round bowls between 7 and 9 inches across the top opening, in stainless steel, ceramic or plastic. Measure straight across the inside of the rim. If your bowl is outside that range, or you would rather not measure, the Bowl + Splash Guard Set arrives already matched.
Does it work for water as well as food?
Yes. The raised wall does the same job for kibble, wet food and water, including dogs who paw at their water bowl. Add the mat if you want a backstop for the last drips.
How do I clean it?
Unsnap the strap, lift the guard off and put it on the top rack of the dishwasher. The stainless steel bowl and the silicone mat are dishwasher safe too.
